The Homeless Animal Rescue Team shelter moved to the east end of Cambria in 2012.

The deadline to make reservations for a gala evening to mark the Homeless Animal Rescue Team’s 30th anniversary is coming up Saturday, Aug. 17.

Up to 100 guests will celebrate the human-animal bond with live music, appetizers and wines on the panoramic ocean-view deck at Camp Ocean Pines on Aug. 25. In the fireside lounge, guests can view sample previews from the upcoming video festival and check out both live and silent auction items. A candlelit dinner featuring food and wine pairings from local restaurants and wineries will be served by wait staff from Central Coast Party Helpers.

Attendees can bid on original “Art Hearts” created for the shelter’s grand opening last summer and participate in a live auction conducted by Jill Turnbow featuring resort stays and spa packages and visits, local wines and winery tours, restaurant and gourmet food, pet and garden goodies.

Tickets will not be available at the door. Tickets ($75) are available at Cambria Chamber of Commerce, 767 Main St., the HART shelter at 2638 Main St. and by calling 927-5956.
