An improved design

Grover BeachAugust 8, 2013

Thank you for being current with the Dalidio project and having back-to-back articles in The Tribune. I look forward to following the development of this project through your pieces.

I am very happy that the direction of the project is changing from the Measure J position. Measure J had too much commercial space, and the mixed use aspect did not seem feasible for long-term stability.

It is very encouraging to see that the new developer would like to incorporate large-scale workforce housing. Housing is so scarce as it is, and the Dalidio location would be wasted if the majority of use went to commercial and retail space. I also very much like the idea of a barn where locals can sell homemade products; that will give the area such a nice touch and highlight its agricultural past.

Thank you for showing support for the new project design, I also think it is much improved.

The Tribune is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
