Economy boost

Arroyo GrandeAugust 1, 2013

The description of the new Dalidio proposal sounds like just what San Luis Obispo needs: more affordable housing, a high-tech park, more hotel rooms for all those tourists and parents of Cal Poly students and just enough farm and open space to keep the charming hometown feel that I think everyone enjoys here.

While more retail sales tax dollars sounds good, I agree with the reduced size of this component, as I think attracting some high-tech firms will help bolster the economy more than having a Macy’s or such.
