North County Indians win in baseball season finale

The North County Indians had two triples and two home runs to back a solid start by Cameron Cotton and turn away the San Francisco Seals 10-5 at Vineyard Athletic Complex in Templeton in their summer collegiate baseball season finale. 

Cotton threw five scoreless innings, allowing three hits while striking out six and walking none. 

Kevin Morgan was 2 for 2 with a triple and three RBI, Mac Stuart was 2 for 3 with a home run and two RBI, Josh Ramirez was 2 for 3 with a triple, and Garrett Giovannelli was 2 for 2 with a double. 

The Indians (34-10) scored at least one run in each of the first five innings, and Cotton left the game with a 9-0 lead. The Seals got one back in the seventh and had a four-run rally in the top of the eighth before the Indians added their final insurance run in the bottom half.
