Thanks for the help

AtascaderoJuly 30, 2013

As the project coordinator for the horseshoe pits at Paloma Creek Park, I would like to take the time to thank the following volunteers and local businesses that helped make this project a success.

Thanks to Tim Sobey, Paul Page, Ken Snoke and Rick Green for the grading and shovel work; Dave Servera, Troy Schneidewind, Bob Morrow, John Ludwig, Doug Craker and Rick Hiatt for the framing of the forms and concrete work; Burt Johnson for his welding and helping John Ramsey dig the fence holes; Armet’s Landscape for installing the fence fabric; Ryan Stolz Concrete Pumping for donating a worker and pumper; and the three Kiwanis Club fellows who came out for the day to help out. I never did get their last names.

A big thank you to Calportland for donating 45 tons of decomposed granite; Heilman’s Salvage for donating rebar for the concrete walkways’ Richard Gonzales Roadrunner Trucking and John Philbrick Construction for delivering the donated decomposed granite.

Also, thanks to Jerry Jenkins, Dale Gomer and Andros Engineering who donated $50 each; Jeff and Caralee Jenkins, John and Becky Ludwig and Western Janitor Supply who donated $100 each; and Kiwanis Club which donated $150.
