The man who allegedly shot a firearm toward a woman in Nipomo on Sunday is still at large.

The woman was walking near Cyclone Street and Grande Avenue at 3:18 p.m. when shots were fired toward her. She was then told to get into the vehicle, and the two drove off, according to a news release from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office on Monday.

Witnesses told the Sheriff’s Office that the driver also fired at them as he drove away.

There were no injuries reported.

The driver is believed to be a 5-foot-4-inch tall Hispanic male, approximately 40 years old with short dark hair who was wearing a white button-up shirt and black pants.

Detectives are looking for a '90s model white Chevrolet pickup truck with an extended cab, tinted windows, a gray rack against the rear cab window, and a "Z 71" sticker on the tailgate.

The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information about the incident to call 781-4550 or Crime Stoppers at 549-STOP.
