The well is dry

Paso RoblesJuly 19, 2013

I have been a homeowner on Geneseo Road in Paso Robles for 29 years.

Now, in the past couple of weeks, our well has not pumped any water. We have been told that we need a new well. Our neighbors have been kind enough to run a hose over to give us some water so we can shower.

As of July 16, our lawn is dead, our vegetable garden is dead, I have had to buy drinking water and we have had to do our laundry in town.

I am urging county supervisors to vote for emergency procedures to be put in place immediately. No more vineyard planting! There must be regulations on pumping water; without any regulations, the water situation will only get worse.
