Tim McGraw takes center stage at Mid-State Fair

Country star Tim McGraw played for a packed crowd at the Chumash Grandstand Arena on Wednesday, the opening night of the California Mid-State Fair.

A three-time Grammy Award winner who ranks among country’s best-selling artists, McGraw is a frequent fair visitor — having previously performed at the Paso Robles Event Center in 2002, 2004 and 2009.

His hits include “Don’t Take the Girl,” “Grown Men Don’t Cry,” “Live Like You Were Dying” and “Something Like That.”
