Sierra Vista hires new chief human resources officer

Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center has hired Kristin Flynn of Avila Beach as chief human resources officer, according to a recent news release.

Flynn spent the last eight years as human resources director for Dignity Health. Prior to that, she worked at Far Northern Regional Center in Redding as their risk assessment specialist.

Flynn has a master’s degree in human resource management from National University. She received her undergraduate degree in sociology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara.

With nearly 800 employees, Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center is the largest private employer in the city of San Luis Obispo and the second largest in the county, according to the release.
