Helping refugees

TempletonJuly 15, 2013

Dear friends and family,

Thanks to your generosity, two Syrian refugee families now have a place to call home. With the $4,300 you helped me raise, I was able to buy and deliver two prefabricated housing units to two randomly identified refugee families in need.

I know the conflict in Syria is still raging on, but I can tell you that the refugee families are forever grateful and because of your efforts these 12 individuals will survive the upcoming winter. This project is but a drop in the ocean when looking at the whole conflict, but to these two families, this drop is their whole ocean.

“If we look at the mass we will never act. If we look at the one, we will.” Thank you for looking at the one and working with me to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors.
