Hasay sets PR, qualifies for World Championships

Former Mission Prep, Oregon star runs 10,000 in B-standard time of 31:46.4

Former Mission Prep and Oregon star distance runner Jordan Hasay qualified late Sunday night for the IAAF World Championships, running the 10,000-meter race in a personal-best, B-standard time of 31 minutes, 46.4 seconds at Jesuit High in Portland, Ore.

Hasay missed the A standard by less than two seconds. She advanced to next month's world meet in Moscow.
