One of San Luis Obispo County’s newer events, the Central Coast Lavender Festival, returns to Paso Robles’ Downtown City Park on Saturday, featuring local growers, vendors, a tasting garden, demonstrations and more.

In its fifth year, the event celebrates an emerging industry with samplings of lavender products like sauces and ice cream, as well as seminars on the benefits of the plant and the ways it’s prepared and used.

The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit www.cclavenderfestival.com.
