Lost it? Pay for it

When I was in the Marine Corps, we were told if we lost our weapon, we would have to pay for it. That was fact. The Arroyo Grande chief of police should pay for his weapon that was stolen. He didn’t follow regulations. He is paid more than Marines now or when I served.
