San Luis Obispo Blues drop fifth straight game

The San Luis Obispo Blues lost their fifth straight summer collegiate baseball game Thursday, falling
4-3 at the leagueleading Conejo Oaks.

The Blues (29-13, 14-11 California Collegiate League) tied the score at 3 in the sixth inning, but then gave up the go-ahead run in the seventh. 

Blues first baseman Nick Flair hit a solo home run in the third inning, and left fielder Mike Pritchard went 2 for 4 with an RBI double in the fourth inning. 

Aaron Attaway scored the team’s final run in the sixth and went 3 for 4 at the plate.

The Blues came into Thursday’s contest tied for third in the CCL’s North Division with the Santa Paula Halos, while the Oaks and Santa Barbara Foresters  were tied for first, one game ahead of the Blues and Halos.
