Arroyo Grande's Brown named all-state

Former Eagles left-hander, right fielder receives third-team all-state honors from Cal-Hi Sports

Recent Arroyo Grande High graduate Kyle Brown has received third-team all-state honors as an Eagles baseball standout, Cal-Hi Sports announced Sunday.

Brown, a pitcher and outfielder who is currently playing for the North County Indians summer collegiate team, was named The Tribune County Player of the Year as a senior this season after he went 7-3 with a 1.61 ERA, and batted .295 with four home runs and 21 RBI.

The left-hander and right fielder has signed with the College of Southern Nevada.
