More details released about fatal motorcycle accident near Highway 46

A 52-year-old San Jose man died in a motorcycle accident Wednesday on a rural North County road when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree, according to the CHP.

The man was traveling east on Santa Rosa Creek Drive at about 40 mph on his Harley Davidson when he took a hard right turn, lost control and hit a tree.

The accident occurred west of Cypress Mountain Drive.

The victim's name had not yet been released.
