One man arrested for allegedly stealing from campsite in Morro Bay

One man has been arrested in connection with the theft of several items overnight from campsites in the Morro Dunes RV Park, and Morro Bay Police are searching for a second suspect.

Shortly after 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to the RV park regarding thefts from several campsites that occurred sometime overnight. 

Officers located several items of associated stolen property in the creek bed near to Lila Keiser Park, which runs adjacent to the Morro Dunes RV Park.

A suspect, 34-year-old Nicolas Faison of Morro Bay, was located with items from the campsite thefts and arrested on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property.

Officers have identified another male subject as a person of interest in the case, which is ongoing.
