ATH Academy, a summer collegiate baseball team from Southern California, scored two runs in the top of the 10th inning for a 5-3 win over the North County Indians.

The Indians (14-7) trailed most of the game before scoring once in the bottom of the seventh to tie the score at 3-3.

The game remained that way until the 10th when ATH used a hit, a walk, a wild pitch, another hit and a sacrifice fly to score two runs.

With one out in the bottom of the 10th, North County had a runner at second base and the tying run at the plate but couldn’t score.

Peter Lecce and Mac Stuart were both 2 for 5 for North County, with Lecce doubling in the 10th. Alex Smith had two RBI.
