Blues suffer 5-4, 10-inning road loss

San Luis Obispo rallies, then falls at Santa Paula

The San Luis Obispo Blues suffered a 5-4 summer collegiate baseball loss in 10 innings to the host Santa Paula Halos on Monday night after scoring two runs in the ninth to come back and tie the score at 4.

San Luis Obispo (25-8) had RBI hits from left fielder Michael Pritchard and pinch hitter Andrew Lee in the ninth to help send the game into extra innings.

Pritchard went 2 for 3 with two walks, a RBI and a run scored. Catcher Daniel Garner went 2 for 5 with a RBI.

San Luis Obispo starter Grayson Long gave up one earned run in six innings with four strikeouts.

The Blues committed three errors.
