Reward offered in robbery of Nipomo credit union

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a woman who robbed the Coast Hills Federal Credit Union at 532 W. Tefft St. in Nipomo on Thursday, according to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office.

The robber is described as a heavyset woman, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, appearing to be between 35 and 40 years old.

The robbery is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 781-4550, the FBI at 346-2728 or Crime Stoppers at 549-7867. Tips can also be submitted at Coast Hills Federal Credit Union in Nipomo.
