Fire burns 3 acres at bottom of Cuesta Grade in SLO

A 3-acre fire caused a lot of smoke but was quickly extinguished at the bottom of Cuesta Grade on Friday morning.

Cal Fire and the CHP responded to the fire, which began around 9:35 a.m. on the southbound side of Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo. The fire was 100 percent contained around 10 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to Cal Fire.
