Sean Ullrich homered for the second straight game, and the San Luis Obispo Blues topped the visiting Santa Paula Halos 8-4 in a summer collegiate baseball game Friday night at SLO Stadium.

With two home runs on the summer, both solo shots, Ullrich was 2 for 4, and Aaron Attaway, Cody Jones and Derek Miller had two hits apiece for the Blues (19-4).

Jordan Smith pitched five strong innings, allowing one run on five hits while striking out seven. But the Halos took the lead with a three-run rally against reliever Corey Ray in the sixth, and Smith ended up with a no-decision.

Cal Poly’s Jordan Brower went 2 for 5 for the Halos.
