Poulin hits three-run shot in Indians win

North County rolls to 12-1 summer collegiate baseball victory

Former Atascadero High standout Brent Poulin hit a three-run home run in a seven-run rally in the sixth, and the North County Indians beat the visiting Fontanetti Blue 12-1 on Friday in a summer collegiate baseball game in Templeton.

Poulin ended up 3 for 4 at the plate, and Michael Frigon, Peter Lecce and Tyler Kollman had three hits apiece for the Indians (10-6), who totaled 19 hits as a team.

Starter Brett Clark earned the win with seven scoreless innings, allowing just three hits and two walks while striking out five.
