SLO Blues power to 11-6 win over Conejo Oaks

Zack Dominguez and Derek Miller had three hits and three RBI apiece, and the San Luis Obispo Blues survived a slugfest with the Conejo Oaks on Thursday. 

Despite falling behind by two runs in the first and allowing six runs through the first five innings, the Blues (18-4) had multi-run rallies in the sixth, seventh and eighth to emerge with an 11-6 victory at SLO Stadium. 

Sean Ullrich was 2 for 4 with a solo home run and three runs scored, Dominguez was 3 for 4 with two runs and Miller was 3 for 5 with a double.

Cal Poly’s Bryan Granger got the win on the mound for the Blues, allowing one run on two hits and a walk while striking out three in two innings of relief work.
