No dogs in cars

Paso RoblesJune 19, 2013

Well, it’s that time of year again to remind people not to leave their dogs in the car.

Every year, dogs are left in hot cars with the window barely cracked. Try sitting in your car wearing a full-length fur coat with the window down 1 inch, and see how long it takes you to start sweating. I can’t imagine why a person who owns a pet would do this.

On another note, please don’t let your kids attach a leash to their bikes and ride around town with the dog in tow.

I saw a young man today doing just that, and his dog was running at full speed trying to keep up. Makes me think that all dog owners should be screened first before getting one.
