Police seeking armed man who robbed Paso Robles bank

UPDATE 11:08 a.m.: The man believed to have robbed Wells Fargo bank in Paso Robles was last seen headed east on Sixth Street, according to Paso Robles police, and the Ford Explorer he was driving had a partial license plate number of 4JXS or 4JX5.

UPDATE 10:23 a.m.: According to police scanner dispatches, the man suspected of robbing a Paso Robles bank Tuesday morning was last seen driving a late '90s burgundy or maroon Ford Explorer with a lift and worn-down, muddy tires.

Police described the suspect as 6 feet, 1 inch tall and around 30 years of age. He was last seen wearing a blue bandanna on his face and black sunglasses, with a plaid shirt and washed-out, baggy blue jeans.

The incident occurred at about 9:22 a.m., according to dispatchers. The suspect is described as a 6-foot, 3-inch tall man wearing a blue bandanna and armed with a black handgun.

He was last seen driving a black Ford Explorer west on Sixth Street.
