Frigon helps Indians move over .500

Templeton High product has four hits in 8-2 win over Wahoos

Templeton High product Michael Frigon went 4 for 5 with a double to help the North County Indians to an 8-2 summer collegiate baseball victory over the visiting Santa Maria Wahoos on Friday at Vineyard Athletic Park in Templeton.

Tyler Coleman hit a solo homer, and Brent Poulin was 2 for 4 with a double for the Indians (6-5).

Indians starter Jordan Goldsmith got the win. The San Luis Obispo High and Cuesta College product lasted six innings, allowing no earned runs, three hits, four walks and striking out three.
