Letter to the Editor

I’d rather be safe

Los OsosJune 14, 2013

Why no complaints that Costco has collected data enabling the notification of a quarter-million purchasers of tainted berries that they are at risk of hepatitis A?

Less than two months ago we complained that the Boston Marathon bombers should have been suspect because of the data collected on their activities. Today we’re complaining about the invasion of our privacy.

Personally, I value my safety more than I am concerned about the revelation of how much time I spend on which political blogs. Or how many letters to the editor I send via email.
