Cambria Community Services District’s directors say that their long, usually jam-packed meetings leave little time for them to hash over their problems. So, the board plans to hold bi-monthly or quarterly evening “study sessions” to do just that, while getting input from their constituents at the same time.

The first such meeting is set for 6 p.m. Friday, June 21, at the Veterans Memorial Building, 1000 Main St.

The board plans to discuss and take public comment on amending district administrative policy on how to start issuing some intent-to-serve letters each year while the district is still under a water-shortage-triggered moratorium on new connections. Also up for discussion will be revision of the district water conservation and retrofit program.

The intent-to-serve policy will be up for formal adoption at the monthly regular meeting of directors on June 27.
