6-acre fire in Creston under control

The grass fire in Creston was reported at 7:02 p.m.


Cal Fire crews have contained a 6-acre grass fire in Creston, according to the agency.

Crews arrived at the Kingbury Road fire soon after it was reported at 7:02 p.m.

Before it was under control, the fire threatened structures in the area.

No one was injured in the blaze.

The mop-up is expected to last two hours.
