The Rockies, one of two Cambria Little League Majors teams, played against the top-seeded Brewers in Morro Bay Saturday, June 1, in the season-ending tournament.

The Rockies came out guns blazing with big hits into the outfield by Carlos Guiza, Sage Friedman, J.J. Garcia and Fidel Figuroa, but the Rockies ran away with the game in the fourth and fifth innings. The Rockies picked up just one win on the season, but the team is young, with all players in their first year at the Majors level.

In the Little League Majors championship game Tuesday, June 4, the Morro Bay Brewers defeated the Morro Bay Nationals, 4-3.
