A seasonal shuttle will link North County riders to the coast starting this week.

The special Tuesday through Saturday service starts Friday and will continue through August 24, according to a press release from the Regional Transit Authority.

The shuttle will travel from Paso Robles to new stops in Templeton and Atascadero and then along Highway 41 to the coast. It will make a brief stop in Morro Bay and continue to Cayucos.

Three round-trips a day will be provided, with the first bus leaving Paso Robles at 9:55 a.m. and the last Cayucos departure at 5:30 p.m., according to the press release.

Adult tickets cost $3 each way or riders can save $1 by purchasing a Regional Day Pass for $5. There will be no service July 4, officials said.
