Cambria’s own singer-songwriter Jude Johnstone plays at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at the Painted Sky Recording Studios in the Old Creamery Building in Harmony.

She’s celebrating the release of her new CD, “Shatter.” Johnstone’s songs have been recorded by the likes of Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt and Trisha Yearwood, among many others.

Her new CD has already received favorable mention by many, including Rodney Crowell, who said it “examines heartbreak and loss with such tender resignation that I wept in acknowledgement of its artful simplicity. A lesson in melodic grace delivered by as fine a singer-songwriter as any I know.”

Tickets, $20, are available at the Cambria Music Box Shoppe, 778 Main St., Cambria, or call 927-8330.
