Cambria Little League Reds win one, lose one

The Cambria Reds Little League team has had an up-and-down season; it seems they win one then suffer a loss in the next game when their players cannot duplicate what they did in the preceding victory. It’s all part of the learning process — learning about baseball and life.

On May 14, the Reds handled the Nationals 12-3, but on May 18 the Reds were downed 7-1 by the Giants. The Reds are 2-3 in the Central Coast Little League standings. The first-place Brewers are 7-1 and the Nationals are in second place at 5-6 coming into this week.

The next home game for the third-place Reds will be May 28 against the Brewers. Thus far this season, the Reds are the only team to beat the Brewers.
