Workshop planned for low-income people hoping to buy a home

The county of San Luis Obispo is hosting a class for low-income people interested in buying their first home.

Income limits range from $42,250 for a household of one to $79,600 for a household of eight.

The workshop will take place 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at the San Luis Obispo City/County Public Library, 995 Palm St.

The class will focus on the process of buying a home and applying for the county’s First Time Homebuyer loan.
