No Gosnell news?

San Luis ObispoMay 19, 2013

Where has the news coverage been on the Gosnell trial? If you haven’t heard about it, Dr. Kermit Gosnell has been found guilty of three counts of first-degree murder of babies who were born alive and then killed.

He was also found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in a drug-overdose death of a patient who had undergone an abortion. The trial began on March 18. Where is the front-page coverage? The verdict was handed down on May 13.

Why doesn’t The Tribune cover important national news? Is the Paso Robles fireworks show more important (headlines on May 14)? Where is the outrage?

The Tribune is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
