Five candidates for Templeton’s new general manager were interviewed Thursday, according to the Community Services District.

Two panels made up of district employees and local citizens conducted the interviews with the district’s board of directors.

The board will review feedback at its May 21 meeting during closed session, said board secretary Laurie Ion.

Negotiations may commence after the meeting, she added.

Former general manager Jeff Hodge unexpectedly resigned Dec. 18 — the same day the new board was seated. His resignation was effective Jan. 6.

In February, an interim general manager, David Andres, was hired.
