Coast Union home for baseball, softball playoff games Thursday

Special to The CambrianMay 13, 2013

There’s both good and bad news for Coast Union High School baseball and softball fans who hoped to watch both teams in first round of the playoffs: Both teams will play at home, but both play at the same time, 3:15 p.m. Thursday, May 16.

So for those fans that can’t physically be two places at the same time, the alternative Thursday afternoon will be to run back and forth between the baseball and softball fields — catch an inning of playoff baseball and dash across campus for an inning of playoff softball.

The Lady Broncos, winners of the Coast Valley League with a 10-0 record, take on the Rockets from Albert Einstein Academy in Santa Clarita.

On the other side of campus, the Bronco baseball team — winners of the Coast Valley League with a 10-0 record — entertains the Knights from Trinity Classical Academy from Valencia.

The baseball game will be broadcast live on KTEA-FM (103.5).
