Yes, the progressive rock band, is scheduled to perform at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles in July.

Progressive rock band Yes is returning to the Central Coast this summer for a concert that will explore their most critically acclaimed hits, according to a news release.

On July 6, the Grammy Award-winning group will perform three of their classic albums — 1971’s “The Yes Album,” 1972’s “Close to the Edge” and 1977’s “Going for the One” — in their entirety at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles.

Hit songs from those albums include “I’ve Seen All Good People: Your Move” and “Roundabout.”

July’s upcoming concert will mark the first time Yes has performed in San Luis Obispo County since 1996, when the group reunited for three concerts at the Fremont movie theater in downtown San Luis Obispo.

Former Yes frontman Jon Anderson, who lives in Arroyo Grande, performed here more recently. He had a solo acoustic concert at the Performing Arts Center in San Luis Obispo in 2010.

Tickets for the July 6 concert are $39.50 to $89.50, and include parking; they go on sale May 17. The amphitheatre’s full season schedule will be announced Monday.

Vina Robles Amphitheatre is located on the grounds of Vina Robles Vineyards & Winery, 3800 Mill Road in Paso Robles. For more information, call 227-4812 or visit
