Yolanda Hill

UPDATE 12:26 p.m.: Yolanda Hill was found about 12:15 p.m. at a local gas station, according to Cmdr. Bryan Millard. Someone who'd seen Hill on the news spotted her and called police.

Original story: Morro Bay police are searching Thursday morning for a woman with Alzheimer’s who wandered off near the 200 block of Pacific Street.

The 65-year-old woman, Yolanda Hill, was last seen waiting in a car around 9 a.m. while her husband had an appointment, said Cmdr. Bryan Millard. The woman, who likes to walk, is believed to be on foot, he added.

Around 11:30, a staging area was being set up, and the police, along with search and rescue teams, state parks employees and volunteers, were mobilizing to search for the woman with the aid of K-9 police dogs.

Anyone who has seen Hill is asked to contact Morro Bay Police at 772-6225.
