Water talk

Paso RoblesMay 9, 2013

In your article “Water district gets support” (May 8) I read that the county supervisors have again decided to talk, plan, consider and discuss the issue.

There was also discussion of hiring experts, receiving reports, approving appointments and possible action (e.g. Nacimiento water, which by all accounts is years and millions of dollars in the future).

The board also voted down any actual reduction of water use by our ag neighbors (e.g. implementation of land use restrictions).

If, in fact, our supervisors agree there is a problem and immediate actions are needed, I don’t see any of the proposed activity doing much to solve the problem.
