Big rig overturns on northbound Hwy. 101 in Paso Robles

UPDATE 8:13 p.m.:  Traffic on Highway 101 north is still backed up to north Templeton.

UPDATE 5:50 p.m.: All lanes are open on Highway 101 at Paso Robles, according to the Paso Robles Police Department.

Original story: An overturned semitrailer is blocking the northbound lanes of Highway 101 in Paso Robles, according to Officer Luke Hall with the CHP.

The accident was reported at 4:43 p.m. Friday south of the Spring Street exit in Paso Robles.

The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries, Hall said.

Emergency personnel are trying to open up one lane of the freeway to traffic, Hall said.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, according to initial reports.
