The Coast Union varsity softball team is sitting pretty in first place at 7-0 in the Coast Valley League coming into this week.

With three more league games remaining in the season, the Lady Broncos seem to be on track to win the league and be primed for the playoffs.

Tuesday, Coast scored two clutch runs in the 6th to defeat Orcutt 8-6.

On May 6 they play Valley Christian Academy (whom they defeated 17-4 in March) at home, followed with a game at Cuyama Valley on May 7 and the final regular season game at home against North County Christian on May 10. Those are all 3:30 games.
