Its a jungle out there 12:32 p.m. April 21, 6930 Morro Road
A man inside Circle K had a machete in a case on his belt.
Cranky complainer 8:38 p.m. April 21, 6300 block of Lomitas Road
A resident called to complain about five dogs barking every night. As an officer was en route, the dogs owner called 911 to say there was a man in front of the house, and he was the same man who had been seen in the early morning hours yelling in front of the house. Officers talked with the homeowners and advised them of the complaint and what to do if the man returned. They tried to contact the original complainer, but he refused. The man called about an hour later to ask why officers came to his house when he complained about the neighbors. He was described as rude and confrontational.
Convenient crime 10:51 a.m. April 22, 8000 Morro Road
A woman said someone stole her gas while she went inside the station while filling up. The loss was $82.

A man set up camp on hole 16 at Chalk Mountain Golf Course.

A woman was seen walking with a bow and arrow.

A woman said someone stole her jeans and white sweater.
Creepy creeper 9:36 a.m. April 24, 3850 El Camino Real
A man wearing a black mask was seen in the bushes near the old Atascadero Ford lot. The 38-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public.
Noisy neighbors 7:11 a.m. April 25, 10000 block of Morro Road
A resident said her neighbors were broadcasting over a PA system on a daily basis, which was disturbing her peace. Officers said it was quiet when they arrived, and they were unable to contact the residents due to a gate.
Pranksters 10:01 p.m. April 26, 1 High School Hill
A white truck parked near the main office had been covered in Saran Wrap.
