Cal Poly men's golf team is in last place at Big West Championship

Cal Poly dropped to last place in the 10-team field at the Big West Conference men’s golf championship Monday going into today’s final round of the tournament at The Country Club at Soboba Springs in San Jacinto.

Pacific has a 587 team total and holds a four-stroke lead over Cal State Fullerton.

The Mustangs have a 611 total.

Cal Poly’s top golfer after 36 holes is freshman Camden Price, who’s tied for 18th after a round of 76. He has a 150 total.

Mustang Scott Patterson carded a 75 on Monday for a 151 total and is tied for 25th.

The final round tees off at 7:15 a.m. today.
