The San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District has scheduled two budget hearings.

The hearings are an opportunity for the public to comment on the agency’s proposed budget for 2013-14 fiscal year. The budget is proposed at $4.2 million, a decrease of 12 percent from the current year’s budget.

The hearings will be on May 29 and July 24. Both will start at 9 a.m. and be held at the Board of Supervisors chambers at the county government center in San Luis Obispo.

The budget is scheduled for final adoption at the July 24 meeting. Copies of the budget are available at the public libraries in Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Morro Bay, Nipomo, Paso Robles, and San Luis Obispo as well as at the district’s website at www.slocleanair.org.
