Cal Poly men's golf team in sixth place at Big West Championship

Cal Poly’s Grant Martens and Camden Price were tied for 12th place after shooting a 74s in the first round of the Big West Championship on Sunday at the Soboba Springs Golf Course.

The Mustangs are tied for sixth with a four-player total of 302.

Hawaii is in first place at 292.

Nainoa Calip of Hawaii and Corey Gard of Cal State Fullerton held the individual lead at 3-under 69.

The tournament continues today.
