Cuesta men finish fourth at state swim meet

The Cuesta College men's swimming team finished fourth Sturday at CCCAA State Championships.

The Cougars finished fourth with 310.5 points in the state meet in Los Angeles.

Golden West won the team championship with 356 points, Palomar came in second with 314 and Diablo Valley took third with 313.

The Cougars took third in the men’s 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3 minutes, 4.18 seconds on the final day of the three-day meet.

Cuesta’s Georan Meendering placed fourth in the men’s 200 backstroke in 1:54.70.
