Local victims of the Boston Marathon bombings are encouraged to contact the Massachusetts Victim Compensation and Assistance Division for assistance, according to the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office.

Several runners from San Luis Obispo County participated in the marathon, which was marred by a terrorist attack that killed three and seriously hurt several others.
