The San Luis Obispo Downtown Association will hold a town hall meeting Wednesday to collect public input to help update its strategic plan.

The plan is used as a guide for developing programs and activities that ensure an economically vibrant downtown commercial district as well as contributing to the success of the area as a cultural, social, historic, government and residential center. It was first developed in 2000 and last updated in 2007.

The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art, 1010 Broad St.

Dale Magee of Catalyst Consulting will facilitate the meeting.  The final report will be released at the State of the Downtown breakfast on Aug. 7.

The current strategic plan is available at For details, call 541-0286.
